New Era Facility Services has recently commenced a new partnership with Applejack Hospitality, supporting 10 venues across its Sydney portfolio.
The partnership brings together two businesses with a strong focus on hospitality and marks another step forward for New Era’s growing New South Wales operation.
For our Sydney team, the first priority was getting the transition right.
10 venues mobilised within one week
The full Applejack portfolio was mobilised by our Sydney team within a one week period.
Across the 10 venues, our management and operational teams worked through the transition site by site, putting the local service teams in place, establishing management coverage and making sure each venue was ready to move across to New Era.
Mobilising a portfolio of this size in a short period requires a lot of coordination behind the scenes, but the goal was simple: make the changeover straightforward for the venue teams and make sure every site commenced with clear ownership from day one.
It was a strong effort from our Sydney team and a good reflection of the operational structure we have continued to build across New South Wales.
Supporting some of Sydney’s best known hospitality venues
Applejack Hospitality operates a diverse portfolio of restaurants, bars, pubs and cafés across Sydney, including venues such as RAFI and Forrester’s.
For New Era, hospitality environments like these require more than simply having a team arrive each night.
Each venue operates differently, with its own trading patterns, presentation requirements and day to day priorities. Our role is to make sure the people on site are supported by managers who understand the venue and can respond quickly when something needs attention.
That local management approach is a big part of how we support hospitality groups as their portfolios become larger.
Onboarded through NEXUS from day one
As part of the mobilisation, all 10 venues were also onboarded into NEXUS, New Era’s proprietary client and operational platform.
NEXUS gives both our management teams and the client a central view across inspections, reporting, service activity and follow up actions.
For a multi site portfolio, that visibility is important.
Individual venues are still managed locally, while NEXUS provides a clearer view across the wider group and gives both sides a consistent record of how the service is performing.
Continuing to build our Sydney operation
The Applejack partnership also reflects the continued development of New Era’s Sydney operation.
As our portfolio across New South Wales has grown, we have continued to invest in local management, regional support and the teams delivering the service at site level.
That structure is what allows us to mobilise larger groups quickly while still keeping the management of each venue close to the people actually operating it.
With the initial mobilisation now complete, the focus with Applejack is on the part that matters most: delivering consistently across the portfolio and continuing to build the partnership over time.
We are proud of what our Sydney team delivered through the mobilisation and excited to be working alongside Applejack Hospitality across its venues.
